Updated Traditional on the Lake
When this family decided to rebuild their cabin in Amery, Wisconsin we knew they wanted to have a space that would be comfortable and fresh with a taste of traditional. This lake home is a great example of how traditional doesn't have to mean heavy or "old." By bringing in some curvier lines and a few darker anchoring pieces of furniture while keeping the rest of the space bright and new we were able to give them the traditional feel they wanted that is approachable for life at the lake.
Unique Fun Details
With lake homes you can get away with a little more adventurous pieces than primary homes. The homeowners loved the idea of having multi-colored paddles lead you downstairs, incorporating fishing décor that wouldn't go anywhere else and adding some bolder colors like saturated greens and oranges to the space. A few of the our favorite moments in the space include antler décor accents and red patterned plaid and check fabrics that work great in a cabin space.
Comfortable and Durable Gathering Spaces
Most homeowners want their furniture to be comfortable and stand up to kids and pets, but it was extra important to make sure all of the pieces were comfortable and durable in this space. With the added elements of wet feet and paws everything needed to stand up to extra wear and tear. The spaces are all organized for gathering the family together for games, nights by the fire or watching college football on their weekends away.

Enough talking let's see the space already!
