Bright Basement Living in Woodbury, Minnesota
The Misty Lane basement is a new construction design in Woodbury, Minnesota. It is anything but the dark image we first think of when we hear the word basement. The natural light and bright finishes give the feeling of main floor living. The design was inspired by this family's love for spending time boating on the river. We brought the coastal inspiration less literally with a soft grey and cream color scheme and subtle rope accents in the barstools. The light wood tones complement the greys and creams and add warmth that feels water inspired, but still fits Minnesota. The brand new bathroom is an oasis that continues the warm wood tones and adds blue hues. Two custom vanities provide plenty of space for guests and friends to get ready for the day.
Not Your Average Bar
A lot of basement bars feel like an afterthought. Not this one. The ceiling detail, large amount of seating and custom cabinetry make a statement. And that statement is - spend time here! The custom bar height table makes a great spot for drinks, games or late night chats. Every detail from the hand-picked latch hardware, gold faucet and marble counters gives the bright coastal feel and makes the bar unique. Not every bar has a custom space for your dog either. The tiny barn doors make the underutilized beneath the stairs space much more fun!

Dream Bunk Room and Extra Home Office Space
This space is the best kid's sleepover room you could ask for! No more sleeping bags in the living room. Enjoy the custom built in bunk beds with stairs and room to play games. The classic white and blue color scheme carries into the bunk room. The desk nook gives a space for one more person to work from home or remote learn with a lot of natural light and space. The fun wallpaper defines the space and is just the right size to add pattern and interest. The rattan chair ties in the woven elements in other areas of the space and we can't help but love the French bulldog painting that adds fun personality to your work from home zone.
